业余级别1-8级，报考六级(含)以上，需要乐理过五级;考试内容包括听力(使用英皇听力教材)、演唱(四首作品)、视唱(钢琴专业的是视奏)。业余八级以后可以继续深造，考取英皇的教学文凭或者演奏文凭，它们分为三个等级:dip abrsm(初级文凭)、lrsm(高级文凭)、 frsm(院士文凭)，其中dipabrsm相当于英国皇家音乐学院的本科文凭，lrsm相当于硕士文凭，而且这个文凭是国际上通用的。

声乐考级需要演唱四首作品(个级别对曲目表演的总时间要求不同)，要求背谱演唱。其中三首从教材的abc三套曲目中各选一首，还有一首自选曲目，这个可以是任何作品，如果你选择的是中国作品，需要把英文翻译一并带到考场哦!这些都适用于1-5级别范围内。
6-8级曲目目前国内没有成套的`书籍，只有全外文的作品目录，上面会标注作曲家名字/作品号/音域等信息，找作品并不难。并且6-8级需要演唱的作品变成了5首，也就是从abcd四套曲目中各选一首还要自己准备一首无伴奏的传统声乐作品。所有五首作品都需要背谱演唱哦!
